Meet the Baker Bringing the Soul of the Golan Heights to Philly
Arguably, everything I write is about impermanence — about death and grief, self-actualization, and spending the time we do have together well. Readers will get content about DIY projects, cooking, pitches that got rejected from major publications, and the Catholic church.
In times of great stress or heartache, there is nothing as soothing as a DIY video. Inject these 90-second little morsels of brightly colored capitalism directly into my brain, so that I can dream of another cleaner, more expensively decorated world. One where I am not too afraid of losing my security deposit to paint my apartment something other than the landlord special white. One where I can actually hang up my art in the two full years I live somewhere and not just succumb to the depressive act of leaning frames against the wall. One where I do not contemplate my own mortality or that of my loved ones. One where I feel at home.
